How our construction process works.

Evaluation

When determining the timing and location for our next construction project, our team initially evaluates various factors, including demand, the expenses and intricacies associated with network construction.

Planning

Once a location is chosen for construction, the engineering process begins. This includes assessing the area, planning fiber installation, identifying easement needs, and initiating the utility pole application process.

Scheduling

Once network design is done, the location joins our construction schedule, alongside others. We’ll contact you for pre-ordering during this phase.

Construction

Our team will secure the essential permits and will begin construction on the network in your area, using aerial, underground, or mixed methods based on existing utilities.

Installation

After construction finishes, customers will receive a notification about the upcoming fiber connection to the exterior of their homes. They can then schedule an in-home installation with Mid-Hudson Fiber.
